The Providence DLY-4 Chrono Digital Delay Pedal is compact but fully featured. The Chrono Delay includes delay times that go from 1 to 2700 milliseconds, and should be more than suitable for almost any need. The Bright LED display lets you see the delay time easily in milliseconds or BPM.
The Mix control lets you adjust the wet/dry mix of the effect. The Echo Hardness control knob allows you to adjust the mid and high frequencies of the delayed echoes, which helps to create an analog tape echo sound with more natural-sounding trailing repeats. With the Feedback knob, you can adjust the amount of delayed signal fed back into the delay pedal. The Beat Split knob lets you select from a variety of note lengths, including Quarter Note, Half Note, Half Note Triplet, Dotted Eighth Note, Quarter Note Triplet, Eighth Note, Eighth Note Triplet, and Sixteenth Note.
The A/B preset memory allows you to store and recall two different delay time settings using the pedal to switch between them as needed. The Providence DLY-4 Chrono Digital Delay Pedal allows you to connect an external tap switch to open up more real-time possibilities. The unit is housed in a sturdy and compact case, and it is powered with an included slim, power-strip-friendly 12-volt DC wall wart.
