With Intensity, Width, and Rate, and a two-band EQ, the MXR M134 Stereo Chorus produces mono or stereo effects, with the help of two output jacks.
As the name suggests, the MXR M134 Stereo Chorus Pedal can put out a mono or a stereo effect, featuring two output jacks to accommodate this feature. The chorus effect is adjusted with an Intensity control that adapts the level of the chorus effect added to the signal. A Width control adjusts the depth of the effect, from barely there, to big swirly waves. A Rate control adjusts the speed of the chorus effect, from a very slow pulse, to a near vibrato.
Also, a two-band EQ, with Bass and Treble controls, filter the modulated frequencies only, and leave the unmodulated signal unchanged. MXR’s M134 also features a Bass Filter, that, when engaged, will only apply the chorus effect to the high frequencies, leaving the bass frequencies unchanged. This can help keep the low end from losing definition and clarity.
The pedal can run on two 9-volt batteries, or the included Dunlop ECB-004 18-volt AC Adapter, and the extra voltage boosts the pedal’s headroom considerably. Both the Bass Filter and On/Off switches make use of bright LED indicator lights. The pedal is housed in a sturdy yellow box for years of use.
