With a bright, contemporary look, silicon transistors, and Volume and Fuzz knobs, the Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Blue is a smaller, yet aggressive version of its vintage big brother.
The Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Blue is a modern design of the legendary Fuzz Face. As the name suggests, this pedal is housed in a much smaller package than its vintage bigger brother. This is a bright and aggressive pedal built with vintage spec matched BC108 silicon transistors. There are two knobs: Volume and Fuzz, which is where you’ll dial in your sound.
Traditionally, silicon transistors do not clean up when you roll off the guitar volume, but with the Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Blue you can achieve this effect, which can be very helpful on stage. There is one true bypass on/off footswitch with an LED indicator. The Fuzz Face Mini Blue has also been upgraded with an easy to use battery door and AC power jack.
The entire unit is housed in a very sturdily built metal encasing, for years of heavy use. The paint color and shape remind you of its bigger brother, which conjures up images of the original Fuzz Face. If you’re looking to get a sound similar to Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, Duane Allman, Pete Townshend, Eric Johnson and George Harrison, but in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly size, then you might want to take a look at the Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Blue.
