A faithful reproduction of the original, this current Electro-Harmonix Bad Stone Phase Shifter Pedal offers a few new and unique updates for today's guitarists.
The Electro-Harmonix Bad Stone Phase Shifter Pedal is the second pedal on this list that is made by the Electro-Harmonix company. This pedal is designed to be a faithful reproduction of the ’70s original, but with a few updates for modern guitar players. It features a six-stage Phase Shifter that gives your sound deep and lush phase tones.
The pedal is controlled by three knobs and a switch. Rate controls the speed of the sweep, while Feedback allows maximum control over the amount of feedback mixed back into the signal. Electro-Harmonix is the first company to offer variable feedback control.
Next, the toggle switch freezes the sweep in position, while the Manual knob allows you to sweep through the frequencies and pick your filtered tone frequency for some really unique tones.
The Bad Stone also features True Bypass switching for maximum signal path integrity, and uses LED status indication. The pedal is powered by using either a 9-volt battery or an optional ac adapter. The Bad Stone Phase Shifter Pedal is housed in a roadworthy compact diecast package.
