Marshall DSL100H 100W All-Tube Guitar Amp Head
The Marshall DSL100H 100W All-Tube Guitar Amp Head is modeled after the JCM2000 Dual Super Lead amplifier that was created in 1997 and was highly regarded until being replaced by Marshall’s JVM series more than a decade later. Now, a decade after that, Marshall has decided to do a reissue of the beloved amp. The DSL100H is a two-channel amp pushing out 100 watts of power using four ECC83 tubes in the preamp section and four EL34 tubes in the power section.
The two channels are foot switchable and each channel has two modes. The Classic Gain channel has Clean and Crunch modes. The Ultra Gain channel has Lead One and Lead Two modes, and each channel has its own Volume and Gain controls. Each channel also has its own Digital Reverb control knob. Both channels share a three-band EQ with Bass, Middle, and Treble controls. There is also a Presence control for high-end shelving and a Resonance control knob for shaping the bass. There is also a Tone Shift switch that works with the midrange and rounds out the EQ section of the amp.
The Marshall DSL100H features a Pentode/Triode switch to drop power down from 100W to 50W and a bypassable effects loop. The two-button footswitch to change channels and toggle On/Off reverb is included.
