I’ve always been impressed by this pedal. At first I thought it was a damn good overdrive pedal. As years have passed, nearly ten now, I look back and think: “Man, this is one great pedal”. I’ve actually never really come across a Fulltone pedal that wasn’t at least excellent. Some may or may not be your cup of tea, but he makes great sounding pedals. The Fulldrive-II is no exception.
There are wah pedals, and then there are great wah pedals. Sure, you can save up and buy one of the vintage classics, but you will need to save a lot and when you drop it (or spill bong water on it, or your pup poops on it, etc…) you will cry. Or… you could save yourself the drama and run out to by the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah.
